Wild America unleashes video for single “Stronger” featuring singer Roy Cathey (SteelCity, Cold Sweat and The Fifth)
American rockers Wild America consisting of lead guitarist Billy DiNapoli, lead vocalist Joe Labbadia, bassist Steve Wovkanech and drummer Arnie Cuozzo have released a video for their new single “Stronger” which features Cold Sweat, The Fifth and SteelCity frontman Roy Cathey. Wild America released their debut album Gasoline via Kivel Records back in November 2018.
The following message was posted on Wild America‘s Facebook page earlier today (with slight edits):
Yesterday we hinted we had a surprise that we’d be rolling out on our YouTube page. Well, this is more than a surprise. This is a Thank You.
This pays homage to our first responders and frontline caregivers, as well as truck drivers, public employees, grocery store workers and all those who are selflessly placing themselves at risk during this trying time. These people continue to soldier on while the rest of us stay inside.
One night Joe was was hit with inspiration. He grabbed his acoustic and let his emotions, feelings and respect for the above mentioned flow into song. Soon after he had a vision to create this song/video. The band and our label were 100% behind him. Joe reached out to our friend Roy Cathey and asked if he would sit in on the song, helping elevate the emotion of the track. In less than a week, STRONGER was born. After much hard work and dedication by Keyboardist/Engineer Andrew Kadin, producer Ty Sims was brought in to flush out the mix. It is with great pride and honor that we share this with all of you.
